Moreover, PASS/EQUIP has a large database from different standards (ASME, EN, GOST) which simplify the design process with different codes/rules. |
| Results | The design has been optimized following both to ASME and GOST codes. Customer confirms that vessels and related documentation have been provided in accordance with required regulations. Vessels have been shipped, exported and installed in Karachaganak Processing Complex, Unit 3. Currently they are turned-on. |

FAI started its activities in 1961 at Carvico (Bergamo), building a new factory and developing the previous industrial work started in 1950 in Osnago (Como).
The production, at the beginning focused on pressure vessels and general steel works fabrication, evolved in 1970 to follow the market and FAI has improved in parallel plant and technology to face the demand. Since the early eighties FAI became a leading company for supplying: sea water intake screening systems, pipeline components, high pressure vessels.
FAI Carvico is investing into production expansion to encompass new materials that can withstand high pressures for pipelines and pressure components; this investment should leave it in good stead to grasp any new opportunities that arise on the market, as it will increase FAI Carvico’s capabilities and service offerings.
